Accounting Economist (Consulting Assignment April–Year-End)

We are looking for a proactive and independent accounting economist who thrives in a role where you take ownership of the entire accounting process and ensure order and clarity in the financial processes. The assignment starts in April and lasts until the end of the year.

About the Role

You will be part of an accounting team of four and work broadly with accounting from start to finish. The role requires you to both deliver operationally and analyze that the accounting is performed correctly. The office is located in central Stockholm.

Your Responsibilities

• Ongoing accounting from start to finish

• Independent work with monthly closings

• Reconcile the balance sheet

• Handle taxes, VAT, and bank

• Function as a control function – follow up on order, clarity, and discrepancies

• Perform simple analysis of effects in accounting

• Possibly assist with simpler payroll tasks (meritorious, not required)

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is confident in accounting and enjoys taking initiative. You are structured, meticulous, and have an easy time understanding existing processes and ensuring they function as they should.

Requirements

• Experience in accounting from start to finish

• Independent in closing accounts

• Good knowledge of Excel

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
